Stella Rihari has a background is in teaching and mental health, social work and she is currently employed by Hospice as the Te Tumu Manaaki, Cultural Liaison.  On her mother’s side she comes from Utakura and on her dad’s side she comes from Pikotuku, Kaihiki, Wharengaere. She has recently moved home to Pikotuku, living beside our awa Pou Koura. She is a mother of seven and grandmother of eighteen.

She is excited to be working alongside a newly established organisation and a great bunch of people. She is also extremely excited to be back in the teaching arena facilitating students from a cultural lens.
