Kia Ora, ko Corinna Rihari- Allen tōku ingoa. I am from the Bay of Islands area. I am excited to lead our younger generation through their journey of kaitiakitanga for the moana as I continue to further enhance my own knowledge alongside our future rangatira.  I was raised on and around the waters of Te Pewhairangi. From a young age the notion of tiaki taiao, tiaki moana was instilled in me and my love for the moana has only grown stronger since then. Navigating waters, protecting the life within it, sustaining the beautiful moana we have so that it can continue to sustain the generations that are still to come. This is the knowledge, the lessons and the life skills that my hapū handed down to me and I hope to gift this mātauranga to future generations.
